Summary

Geometry is looking for a dynamic and passionate Account Executive to support the day-to-day management of experiential and event work for a global client. As an Account Executive, you will collaborate with senior leaders on the team to drive the strategic vision, creative development and execution of events and programs. In this role, you will work with a team to provide key insights and clear marketing direction that will build a solid, trusting, value-added relationship that exceeds client expectations.

As Account Executive, you will play an integral role within a larger IAT, in large effort to drive brand awareness for a new generation product within our client’s business portfolio. You will collaborate with other team members across strategy, creative, production and field, with identifying, planning, and managing key deliverables, activities, budgets and deadlines, as well as review, evaluate and critique creative ideas/output to ensure that work meets client and agency quality standards.

You are a self-starter, detail oriented, able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles and able to prioritize workload. You are a solid multitasker, with the confidence to be quick on your feet with a strategic mindset and the ability to problem solve.

The ideal candidate must have some marketing experience, and ideally a deep knowledge of and interest in Experiential Marketing. Experience working on industry-regulated brands preferred. This position reports to the Account Supervisor on the business.

What You'll Do

 

  • Contributes to solidifying and expanding the day-to-day client/agency relationship and ensuring all local market initiatives deliverables are executed with excellence
  • Facilitates internal communication and ensures all cross-functional team members understand project parameters and scope of work
  • Collaborate with creative, project management and production to bring local customized programs to life
  • Initiates creative development, ensures production accuracy and that local insights and learnings are incorporated
  • Plans and manages client workflow from project initiation to project completion and billing
  • Keeps team members informed of project developments and issues via regular status meetings and status reports
  • Ensures deadlines, timetables and approval procedures are adhered to for assigned projects and manages workflow. Helps develop tools and recommendations to improve the current process
  • Assist in strategic planning brainstorms for current and potential clients
  • Communicate program objectives to Field Management and act as liaison between Field and internal agency teams (Account/Strategy/Creative)
  • Work with Regional Field Managers to staff, train, and manage Local Market Managers and Field Representatives
  • Monitor/evaluate program results during execution and working directly with Field Management, Strategy and Creative teams to identify outliers and make adjustments as needed
  • Ongoing post-event analysis and reporting results to client
  • Gather important program feedback from Field Management and Field Representatives for client recommendations and future program improvements/enhancements

Our Ideal Candidate

  • BS/BA in Advertising or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in developing and executing national consumer promotions and customer marketing programs.
  • Experiential Marketing Agency experience a plus.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise creativity and take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes personal responsibility for a complete, multi-stage project
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can handle large tasks without a lot of day-to-day handholding
  • Must possess strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Map Point)
  • Tuned in socially/culturally and always keeping a pulse on new experiential trends
  • Knowledge in the tobacco industry ideal
