    Summary

    The Sr. Analyst’s primary responsibility is providing analytics-based strategic insights and direction to aid in the development of communications initiatives for existing and potential agency clients. Working closely with the agency’s account management, creative, strategy, and media teams, this position provides an internal consultative perspective on analytical tools, measurement, and testing. In addition, this position plays a supporting role in agency new business opportunities.

    What You'll Do

    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Independently analyze and interpret media performance
    • Lead the development of analytical plans and strategies to improve the effectiveness of communications programs
    • Ensure delivery and integration of conclusions/recommendations and actionable insights
    • Primary consultant to account teams (agency and client) on campaign planning and campaign effectiveness, with respect to:
      • Data transformation, extraction, loading
      • Defining key metrics and set goals
      • Developing test and control methodologies and design
      • Identifying target populations, tactics
    • Recommend and design appropriate analytic methodology and approach
    • Develop and support reporting of various testing efforts and overall results
    • Develop analytical plans and strategies to improve the effectiveness of communications programs
    • Subject matter expert for analytical tools and techniques, including testing
    • Support agency new business process, as directed
      • Data visualization and analysis
      • Strategy development
    • Mentor junior level team members

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field
    • Minimum of 5+ years’ of experience performing and leading analytics initiatives
    • Strong analytical skills and experience designing analytical solutions to address business problems
      • Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL, or R
    • Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to non-quantitative audience
    • Ability to build relationships across team, departments, vendors and clients
    • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
    • Solid experience in marketing analytics environment
    • Strong reporting background, from conception to delivery (Excel/VBA, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.)
    • Experience in multi-channel analytics, including web analytics
    • Solid foundation in data mining/statistical techniques
    • Strong understanding of experimental design
    • Database management/data warehouse experience
