    Summary

    The Director of Operations will oversee client and agency operations for a large multi-agency client team across North America. This senior agency leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining processes, tools, resources, training, and governance practices to ensure effective execution of agency projects.  In addition, the Operations Director is also a core member of the senior agency management team and engages with key stake holders to drive agency-wide initiatives, operational efficiencies, optimize work quality, and build business solutions to better enable multi-agency capabilities.

    What You'll Do

    • Identify, define and standardize efficient processes and systems to better manage workflow and communications (custom for client)
    • Manage an omnichannel workflow and omnichannel operations including, but not limited to digital, e-comm, shopper, print, outdoor
    • Troubleshoot issues on projects and responsible on a day to day basis of smooth completion of all projects across multiple agencies
    • Partner with Client Leadership on Scope of Work
    • Serve as lead Operations contact for clients
    • Oversee and continue to improve ways of working
    • Resource/Forecast/In-Take projects
    • Coordinate and champion the development of Effie submissions
    • Effectively train new hires and guide teams throughout to maintain an efficient operational structure for creative and production
    • Assess incoming projects to propose staff allocation recommendations to key stakeholders, based on level, availability, and scope allocation
    • Oversee scheduling, timesheet compliance, utilization optimization, reporting and resource forecasting
    • Ensure effective/efficient time management of team(s) by working with project managers to prioritize assignments and projects
    • Proactively work with Project and Account Management to edit timelines, when possible, to allow the most efficient use of resources
    • Analyze utilization reports, including burn reporting, to determine future staffing adjustments
    • Lead weekly resource meetings, with follow-ups to key stakeholders on any staff questions
    • Support Talent Acquisition in identifying needs for full-time talent
    • Lead internal training and educate curriculum for cross functional client team
    • Work directly with Resource Manager to anticipate upcoming freelance needs
    • Partner with Director of Finance to ensure that we have the most efficient financial model
    • Serve as a partner to Director of HR, Finance, Production and other departments as needed
    • Serve as key client contact for day to day inquires as it relates to project completion and issues

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • 8-10+ years’ industry experience in an agency environment with a background in Account Management, Project Management, or Operations
    • Experience multi-tasking and problem solving under pressure in a fast-paced, highly-creative environment
    • Extensive background in Project Management and omnichannel or digital experience operations
    • Knowledge of omnichannel projection as it relates to project timelines and budgets.
    • Experience in workflow technology and using technology to optimize efficiencies in the workflow
    • Strong leadership, negotiation, and time management skills
    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to balance and prioritize business objectives
    • Skilled in fostering positive and constructive interaction with clients and employees at all levels of 
    • the organization
    • Intuitive ability to handle confidential information and sensitive areas of topic within all levels of agency
