    The New Business Director is responsible for directing the new business team’s day-to-day operations and team for all agency new business opportunities. The Director leads the team, establishes priorities, assigns responsibilities and tasks, and all aspects of the new business team and function.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead and make decisions in the development and production of new business proposals and presentations including but not limited to:
      • RFIs/RFPs, credentials presentations, and pitch decks
    • Understand, analyze and report new business development metrics including revenue forecasts and actuals, conversion rates, and PipeDrive prospect list analysis
    • Liaise with other Geometry offices including North America & Globally to create strong relationships within WPP network
    • Lead conference calls on a by-weekly to monthly basis with N. America office leads, COE leads, and other key stakeholders to gather updates on new business activities and results
    • Provide guidance and best-practices in the organization of RFI and RFP presentation database, files and new business materials
    • Lead new business status meetings
    • Lead the new business potential prospect process with research, competitive analysis, which includes but not limited to:
      • Writing/editing and distribution of RFI/RFP responses
      • Evaluating new market research and adjusting new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
    • Develop an understanding of all agency functions and procedures and educating external partners and potential clients
    • Mentor and support the New Business Manager demonstrated by:
      • Being able to help tackle assignments and working collaborate with one another
      • Answering questions and providing guidance with assigned projects
    • Enter time reports once a week, at a minimum, and expense reports within 10 days of incurred expense
    • Work closely with the VP or CCO to establish the vision for the New Business team into actionable plans
    • Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field.
    • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, advertising or related field
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organization demonstrated through actions such as:
      • Effectively managing timelines and deliverables of multiple projects to meet deadlines
      • Effectively proofing work to ensure accuracy Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and logically both verbally and in written form
    • Analytical skill/ability to draw conclusions from results analysis
    • Ability to establish a vision and direct actions to turn that vision into action
    • Ability to lead a team towards common goals
    • Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and logically both verbally and in written form
    • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote
    • Willingness to handle any detail, no matter how small, to deliver the agency’s product to prospective clients.
    • A strong sense of curiosity/ interest in learning and willing to take on new challenges
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements
    • A team player who is proactive, able to work autonomously, and self-directed
    • Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:
      • Effectively proofing work to ensure accuracy 
      • Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and logically both verbally and in written form
      • Identifying opportunities and solutions to be helpful without being prompted
