The Assistant Account Executive is responsible for assisting the Account Manager with the execution of all client projects to which they have been assigned. The AAE will also assist in managing all aspects of shopper marketing initiatives . They will also help develop strategic creative briefs, develop testing matrices, analyze results and competitive marketplace, and assist with strategy, creative, production and the data processing departments.
Generally, the AAE acts as the primary interface between the various agency departments and lower level client staff with regard to executing projects on a day-to-day basis. This position is instrumental in ensuring that all agency departments are updated with regard to schedules, changes/next steps and for maintaining the status of work in progress at all times during the project development process. The goal at the AAE level is to seek broad involvement to expand his/her knowledge base and experience in preparation for an Account Manager position.
