    The Creative Recruiter will serve as an extension of the Creative Leads to help place talent across the agency on various client teams. The Creative Recruiter should have a keen eye for talent, so assessing creative portfolios to provide constructive feedback comes with ease. The Creative Recruiter should easily pivot from recruiting a salaried position that starts in a few weeks to finding the perfect freelancer for an immediate project.

    What You'll Do


    • Lead the Geometry creative staffing and hiring process, including sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, conducting reference checks and negotiating offers for candidates
    • Look at books, lots of books, so we find the best talent possible to build our creative product
    • Utilize numerous networking tools to develop and grow a candidate talent base for creative hires and freelance staffing
    • Source candidates using our internal database, portfolio sites, social networking sites, job boards, portfolio school events, etc.
    • Identify resources, tools and opportunities to increase brand awareness amongst qualified job seekers, improve the candidate experience at Geometry, and increase diversity of the candidate pool
    • Represent Geometry at networking, industry and portfolio school events
    • Ensure job postings are kept current
    • Partner with vendors such as staffing agencies, background investigation firms, law firms (if immigration is a factor) and others to facilitate an effective recruitment process
    • Partner closely with Creative Resource team to ensure all hiring gaps are closed
    • Proactively build pipelines of diverse talent related to current openings and potential new business initiatives
    • Assist in relocation and immigration cases
    • Monitor industry trends and competitors 

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 2+ years of experience in recruiting with heavy emphasis on the creative industry
    • Full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
    • A robust network in the Chicago ad industry with a history of attending industry-sponsored events
    • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to interact with candidates and leadership at all levels
    • Has an eye for the details and can prioritize responsibilities
    • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices
    • Ability to discern creative skills in candidates throughout all steps of the recruitment process
