The Senior Account Executive will provide day-to-day executional support to account team by planning and directing programs to meet client’s promotional and marketing needs. This role is to drive agency work and keep the agency operations moving along, while keeping the account team informed of project status. 

What You'll Do


Core job Functions:

  • Creates and updates both client and project documents including: creative briefs, estimates, project timelines, status reports, conference reports, financial reports, creative recaps and other supporting materials
  • Serves as creative and executional project lead; guides the day-to-day development of marketing programs from start to finish; secures required client approvals; ensures progressive steps in the process are approved with adequate time to meet schedules
  • Gathers, prepares and communicates necessary information to other agency functions (project management, creative team, production) and external vendors to execute marketing programs and solutions for client
  • Builds rapport and credibility with client and retailer personnel based on trust, expert counsel and responsiveness to client needs
  • Keeps agency team informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems; proactively develop solutions
  • Reviews all strategic documents and creative work prior to submitting to client for review
  • Uses client/business knowledge and relationships to uncover opportunities for the agency and grow business
  • Ensures that agency work supports the brand and meets objectives and strategies
  • Establishes budgets and manages workflows, collaborating with project managers to adhere to budgets and timelines
  • Adheres to agency process and financial policies; identifies ways to improve processes
  • Develops in-depth understanding of clients’ and retailers’ business

Our Ideal Candidate


  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-4 yrs. of agency management experience, preferably with shopper marketing/consumer promotions experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written form
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Proactive approach and proven ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to manage overlapping deliverables with short turnaround times
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
