    Acts as day-to-day client lead, driving thought leadership and exceptional execution both internally and with our clients. Leads development of national brand activation plans (including consumer promotions), in partnership with inter agency and brand teams, and serves as strategic brand consultant to the retail field teams to help develop award winning shopper marketing programming that aligns with brand’s national campaigns.

    What You'll Do

    • Partner with Brand and inter agency teams to develop national activation plans to support Unilever Skin Cleansing brands
    • Works in partnership with Account Director and Strategic Planning team to develop shopper strategy and shopper marketing key visuals and toolkit for delivery to retail field teams
    • Serves as strategic brand consultant, helping field teams build briefs and evaluating retail creative to ensure alignment with brand ambition and campaigns
    • Plans and executes Consumer Promotions plans in partnership with Brand teams
    • Partner with client and Strategic Planning to manage and create creative briefs and manage projects in accordance with agency procedures
    • Evaluate copy, layout/artwork, and productions materials and make suggested revisions in keeping with agreed upon strategies and business objectives
    • Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes, monitoring status of work in progress
      • Anticipate potential problems and implications associated with requests
      • Develop and execute solutions in alignment with client request and agency procedures
      • Lead internal and client status meetings to keep teams updated on project status
    • Analyze program results, summarize findings, and recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward
      • Assist senior leadership in the development of program recaps and associated presentations for clients based on analysis of results and recommendations
    • Lead meetings and deliver presentations both internally and with the client
    • Finance management:
      • Develop program estimates and scopes of work and ensure financials are being accurately tracked according to agency procedures
      • Track budgets; notify manager of client requests that fall outside of scope; revise budgets as needed; alert client of financial implications and secure approval to proceed
    • Provide oversight to junior team, growing their skills and determining when appropriate for them to take leadership with projects or client and internal discussions
    • Handle other duties as assigned by Director

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 4-6 years experience in Marketing – Shopper Marketing experience is a plus!
    • Comprehensive knowledge of client category and business objectives, and a clear understanding of the key strategic issues that impact the client’s business
    • Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:
      • Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy
      • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
      • Developing and archiving all key project documents in an easy to identify format for historical reference
    • Strong ability to foster partnerships across client teams, internal teams and inter agency teams
    • Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written form
    • Ability to analyze results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations
    • Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:
      • Providing regular and thorough project updates to manager and team
      • Anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and developing solutions
      • Keeping abreast of category trends and sharing information/learnings with team members
      • Recognizing and elevating incremental opportunities where agency can add value
