The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, event installation/dismantle, DOT compliance, shipping/logistics and associated financials. The Senior Production Manager is also a key liaison between the Agency and our vendors, providing design/fabrication guidance and budgetary guidelines to our vendor partners.

What You'll Do

  • Ability to build trusting relationships with creative team to influence design based on available budget and feasibility
  • Provide leadership, recommendations, and hands-on training to account team members
  • Establish and maintain agency/vendor relationships
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for the production of client projects and resolve problems independently
  • Add strategic thinking/insight in meetings with Client
  • Composition of RFP documents for vendor review & selection
  • Provide clear direction and support to internal teams to ensure work syncs with overall strategy
  • Create efficient job flow through constant dialogue between creative, account and client
  • Responsible for the production budget for each project
  • Pro-actively look for involvement in agency new business initiatives
  • Identify client needs/challenges, recommend strategic solutions, and become primarily responsible for the execution of those solutions 
  • Assist account teams to diversify and grow accounts organically to ensure client retention and agency growth objectives
  • Lead and challenge client thinking and requests
  • Assist account teams in all facets of program development, execution and client retention
  • Provide post-event/project accounting and auditing of vendor costs

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10+ years of experience in marketing, production and/or fabrication required
  • Proven success translating a creative idea into a physical environment while managing timelines and budgets
  • Working knowledge of event production planning and execution with at least five years experience involving all facets of the promotion industry, with an in depth understanding of live marketing and activation
  • Excellent background and understanding of the production/fabrication process. Areas of expertise should include Print Production, Exhibit Fabrication, Metal Fabrication, and Vehicle Fabrication to name a few
  • Superior space planning, analytic and conceptual thinking abilities as well as strong understanding of mobile experiential tours. “On the road” experience managing a tour is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and AutoCAD a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of individuals
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent planning skills for implementing projects which involve a variety of areas
  • Strong presentation skills from inception to delivery
  • Excellent budgeting experience and budget tracking
  • Ability to travel to on-site locations
  • Ability to stay calm in a high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude
  • Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:
    • Identifying opportunities and solutions to be helpful without being prompted
    • Looking for and taking on additional work during lull periods
