The Assistant Account Executive will work with the Account Supervisor to develop and manage day-to-day project tasks.  Internship or 6 months of advertising agency experience recommended. Experiential Marketing Agency experience a plus.  The Assistant Account Executive will interface daily between internal teams (field, technology, analytics, strategy and creative) and vendors, working closely with their supervisor to develop and implement marketing plans, grow brand awareness and have a keen understanding of budgeting/tracking and be detail oriented, organized and proactive.

The successful candidate will have the judgment skills needed to prioritize, juggle multiple projects; strong program execution skills, as well as a high level of customer service and work well under pressure while working well on a fun, positive team.

What You'll Do

  • Contributes to solidifying and expanding the day-to-day client/agency relationship
  • Facilitates internal communication and ensures all cross-functional team members understand project parameters and scope of work
  • Initiates creative development, ensures production accuracy
  • Plans and manages client workflow from project initiation to project completion and billing
  • Keeps team members informed of project developments and issues via regular status meetings and status reports
  • Manage field staff executing program; responsible for payroll / expense tracking; play key role in hiring
  • Assist with program budget creation; Responsible for managing budget tracking throughout program
  • Manage and oversee internal and client usage of reporting portal.
  • Responsible for post-event analysis and reporting results to client
  • Ensures that deadlines, timetables and approval procedures are adhered to for assigned projects and manages workflow. Helps develop tools and recommendations to improve the current process
  • Assist in strategic planning brainstorms for current and potential clients
  • Communicate program objectives to Field Management
  • Work with Regional Field Managers to staff, train, and manage National Programs on a local level
  • Monitor/evaluate program results during execution and working directly with Field Management to identify outliers and make adjustments as needed
  • Gather important program feedback from Field Management and Field Representatives for client recommendations and future program improvements/enhancements

Our Ideal Candidate

  • BS/BA in Advertising or related field
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise creativity and take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can handle large tasks without a lot of day-to-day handholding
  • Must possess strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Keynote a plus.
