Focuses on the visual side of the creative being developed for various client requests. Handles design, type, photography, layout, color, shape, and the overall visual esthetics under the guidance of senior creative team. Ensures agency success by owning the creation of designs that are consistent with client branding guidelines, client goals, and company procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Design or relevant field
1–3 years of experience in Art Direction
Knowledge of Adobe Create Suite and any other relevant applications
Knowledge of current trends, pop culture, current and past design themes
Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written
form; Can clearly articulate an idea and the reason(s) behind a specific creative direction
Accepts constructive feedback and is able to utilize feedback in work
Comprehensive understanding of specified brand(s), brand guidelines, and retailers as
they relate to the projects they are working on
Understanding of where and how people interact with all kinds of media including: at
home, on the go, while shopping, Mobile, Broadcast, Print, Event, New and inventive platforms
Stay up-to-date and relevant on current industry trends
Actively and effectively managing timelines and deliverables of multiple projects
simultaneously, some with short turn around times
