This role is responsible for aligning the resources (time, talent and tools) of the media department against the needs of clients.  The position requires routine interactions with clients, vendors, and internal account and finance leaders.  This is a senior role reporting to the SVP of Media.

What You'll Do

    1. Monitor and track media time against all client scopes. Suggest scope or staff changes based on demand and evolving client needs. 
    2. Manage regular scope-of-work and revenue conversations with account leaders and finance. Help project revenue changes based on pipeline.
    3. Ensure new client projects are funded. Work with finance to coordinate IWO’s between offices/agencies. 
    1. Help media team leaders design workflows to streamline media processes on each team. Troubleshoot problem areas to optimize our effectiveness.
    2. Help coordinate workflow and communication between media and other departments. Ensure the right tools are used to manage information.
    1. Oversee media department contracts and relationships with key software vendors (MediaOcean, MediaTools/SQAD, Nielsen, etc.). Suggest contract revisions to align with client needs.
    2. Manage security groups in DDS/MediaOcean
    3. Act as liaison with Geometry/WPP/Ogilvy IT team.
    1. Help media team leaders recruit and retain media talent. Coordinate job postings and job descriptions with Geometry HR.
    2. Monitor and track performance reviews


Must Haves

  • 6+ years experience in an agency and an overall understanding of what media departments do for clients
  • An analytical mind with financial acumen and an understanding of agency revenue and costs
  • A talent for project management, timelines, and processes.
  • Basic understanding of media tools and software.
  • An ability to negotiate and solve complex problems.
