The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will serve as an extension of the Human Resources discipline to help place talent across the agency on various client teams. A successful Talent Acquisition Recruiter will effortlessly build strong relationships across all levels in the agency and with candidates. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter should easily pivot from recruiting a salaried position that starts in a few weeks to finding the perfect freelancer for an immediate project.

What You'll Do

  • End to end ownership of the recruitment process - posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling and closing
  • Identify new and innovative resources, tools and opportunities to increase brand awareness amongst qualified job seekers and passive candidates
  • Represent Geometry Global at networking, industry and school events
  • Establish and partner with agencies and third party vendors to facilitate an effective recruitment process
  • Build internal relationships with key stakeholders acting as a trusted recruitment advisor
  • Create a positive candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process
  • Assist in candidate relocation and immigration process
  • Work on NA Talent Acquisition projects as needed
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors 
  • Mentor and help develop other members of the Talent Acquisition team

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in recruiting
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced advertising agency environmen
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of direct sourcing strategies (e.g. referral generation, cold calling, online social networking, etc.) to proactively build candidate pipelines that generate sufficient quantity and quality to meet business in a cost-effective manner
  • Ability to drive through challenges using innovative approaches and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with a variety of levels of candidates and clients
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and build pools of qualified candidates
  • Familiarity with ATS systems preferably iCIMS
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptable style
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices
